1. About This Website

Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com is an independent travel information and affiliate website operated by Micho Travel, a travel business based in Germany.

The website provides independent information, travel guides, comparisons and recommendations relating to Bosphorus tours, cruises, boat trips and related travel experiences in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com is not an official website of Istanbul, the Republic of Türkiye, any Turkish government authority, Şehir Hatları, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the Bosphorus tour operators, or any other attraction, transportation company, tour operator or service provider mentioned on this website, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Our website is not owned, operated, sponsored, endorsed or officially affiliated with any of these organizations merely because their services, products or websites are mentioned or linked to.

2. Affiliate Links

Some links on Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com are affiliate links.

An affiliate link is a special tracking link provided by a third-party company or affiliate network. If you click such a link and subsequently make an eligible booking or purchase, we may receive a commission from the respective provider or affiliate network.

Depending on the products and partnerships available to us, affiliate partners may include third-party booking and travel platforms such as:

GetYourGuide
Viator
Tiqets
Headout

This list may change over time as our commercial partnerships change.

The use of an affiliate link does not normally result in an additional charge to you. The price you pay is determined by the respective booking provider and its applicable terms and conditions.

3. Commercial Relationship

Because we may receive a commission from certain bookings generated through links on this website, some recommendations, comparisons, buttons, listings and other commercial content may constitute commercial communication or advertising.

We therefore aim to make the commercial nature of such content clear and transparent.

Where appropriate, affiliate or commercial content on this website may be identified with labels such as:

Advertisement

Affiliate link

Sponsored / commercial link

or similar wording that clearly communicates the commercial nature of the link or recommendation.

A general disclosure on this page does not replace the need to appropriately identify commercial content or affiliate links where required by applicable law.

4. How Affiliate Links Work

When you click an affiliate link, the relevant booking provider or its affiliate-tracking technology may be able to recognize that you arrived from Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com.

If you subsequently complete an eligible booking or transaction, the provider or affiliate network may attribute that transaction to our website and pay us a commission.

The exact tracking technologies, attribution periods and payment conditions are determined by the respective affiliate program.

We do not control the technical operation of third-party affiliate tracking systems.

5. Does Using an Affiliate Link Cost More?

Normally, no.

Affiliate commissions are generally paid by the participating provider or affiliate network and do not normally result in an additional fee being added to the customer’s booking price.

However, prices, fees, taxes, discounts, availability and booking conditions are determined by the respective provider.

You should always review the final price and booking conditions shown on the provider’s website before completing a booking.

6. Our Recommendations

We may receive financial compensation from certain providers when users book through our affiliate links.

For that reason, you should understand that Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com is a commercial website and not an entirely non-commercial or independent review publication.

We aim to provide useful, accurate and transparent information and to help visitors compare different types of Bosphorus experiences.

However, the existence of an affiliate relationship does not mean that a particular tour, company or product is officially endorsed by us, by Istanbul authorities, or by any other organization.

Likewise, the inclusion of a tour or provider on this website should not be interpreted as an official recommendation, certification, accreditation, guarantee or endorsement by the provider unless we expressly state otherwise.

7. Prices and Availability

Prices, availability, schedules, meeting points, itineraries, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation policies and other booking conditions may change at any time.

Information displayed on Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com may therefore become outdated.

The information displayed by the respective booking provider at the time of booking is controlling for the actual transaction.

Before making a booking, you should carefully review the provider’s current:

price;
availability;
departure time;
departure location;
tour duration;
itinerary;
inclusions and exclusions;
cancellation and refund conditions;
age restrictions;
accessibility information; and
other applicable booking terms.

8. Third-Party Booking Websites

Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com does not process bookings for third-party tours unless expressly stated otherwise.

When you click a booking or affiliate link, you may be redirected to the website of an independent third-party provider.

Any booking you make after leaving Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com is subject to the terms, conditions, privacy policy, cancellation policy and other rules of the respective provider.

The booking contract is generally formed between you and the respective provider, not between you and Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com, unless expressly stated otherwise.

The respective provider is responsible for the availability, performance, delivery, cancellation, modification, refund and other contractual aspects of the booked service.

9. No Guarantee of Availability or Service Quality

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and current information.

However, we do not guarantee that:

a particular tour will remain available;
a particular price will remain available;
a particular tour will operate on a particular date;
an itinerary will remain unchanged;
a provider will continue offering a particular service;
a third-party website will remain accessible;
information supplied by a third-party provider will always be complete or accurate; or
a particular experience will meet an individual visitor’s expectations.

Tour operators and booking platforms may change their products, prices, schedules, routes, meeting points or conditions without notice.

10. Third-Party Providers Are Independent Businesses

GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets, Headout and other third-party companies mentioned or linked to on this website are independent businesses.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Istanbul-Bosphorus-Tours.com and Micho Travel do not own, operate or control the tours, boats, cruises, guides, transportation services or other experiences offered by these companies or their suppliers.

The inclusion of a third-party provider or booking link on this website does not create a partnership, agency relationship, joint venture, employment relationship or other legal relationship between Micho Travel and that provider beyond the applicable affiliate or commercial arrangement.

11. No Official Affiliation

Where information is important to your travel plans, you should verify it with the relevant tour operator or booking provider before making a purchase.

13. Affiliate Tracking and Privacy

The processing of personal data and the use of cookies or similar technologies are subject to our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Cookie Policy.

For questions concerning an existing booking, including:

you should generally contact the provider with whom you made the booking.

The applicable booking confirmation and the provider’s terms and conditions determine the relevant contractual relationship.
